For the last 6 months or so, we have been working on improving our app, and we are pleased to announce version 2.0! We wanted to take everything we have learned over the past 3 years, and package that knowledge in an easy to use format. The goal; to allow the visitors and locals of the Westerly area easy access to local information.
We took our robust events calendar, extensive business directory, original content and packaged that with our food blog – to create the Westerly Life app.
There was something missing…
For an app to be popular, it first must be useful. Why would I download an app if I wasn’t going to use it? We had to make it better. So that is what we did.
We added numerous new features with amazing benefits:
- Coffee club – virtual “punch card” that can be used at participating coffee shops
- Social wall – a hyper-local social media wall where you can post pics of yourself
- Coming soon – LIVE video feeds!
- And much, much more!
This is just the tip of the iceberg. We will be launching new tools within the app, that will allow for extended features, functionality and benefits to you – the end user.
