Where do you like to go to grab a beer? Westerly has some great stops to grab a quick drink after work or to welcome in the weekend. Today we are sharing another post on how you can spend under ten dollars at The Weekapaug Inn. Last week we told you about our great lunch out. Did you know you can also stop in after work for a drink at the bar? Weekapaug Inn has a cozy, intimate bar which is perfect for a six dollar pour after work. With complimentary snacks including some really fun fried pasta chips, a great view and food if you want it- what is not to love?
If you are a real beer aficionado you might also like to know about the upcoming Brewmaster’s Social. Started last year, this event is held on occasional Wednesday nights and could not be more fun. You are welcomed with hors d’oeuvres and a behind the scenes tour of the kitchen before you sit down for a casual, family-style three course dinner where each course is paired with the brewer’s choice beer. Staff at the inn tell us that these Brewmaster Social’s are much more like house parties than formal events. On April 19 the Inn welcomes Berkshire Brewing out of South Deerfield, Massachusetts. I might be a little biased here as South Deerfield is not far from where I grew up, but I am really looking forward to this! Anyone know any great babysitters?
