Graze Burger is fairly new to the Westerly area as it opened up around a year ago. While it is new to town it is certainly welcome because Graze isn’t your normal burger joint. One of the many things that makes Graze so special is that all their beef is grass-fed, hormone free, and raised on a family-owned and operated farm in Stonington (they even have a picture of the farm displayed inside). They are very proud of their farm to bun concept.
Their burger is very simple and straight to the point. But every ingredient on their burger tastes fresh. They have the Graze burger that includes lettuce, tomato, pickle and Graze sauce which stands as their staple or base burger. You can also try one of their specialty burgers like their Avocado Burger (avocado, lettuce, tomato), The Mushroom Swiss (Swiss cheese and cremini mushroom), or the Breakfast Burger (bacon, egg, American cheese).
One of the bestAnd get extra Graze sauce for dipping both your fries and burger into. It makes everything taste even better (if that is even possible).
Now if burgers aren’t you thing then they do have other options. You can try their Bell & Evans Chicken Sandwich which comes either grilled or crispy and with a buttermilk herb aioli. Graze may be about the beef but they do offer The Beyond Burger, a 1/4lb. veggie burger with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and cheese. They also offer a Jumbo All Beef Hot Dog and a Graze Greens Salad. They also a kids burger and student-deal.
To top off everything they offer frozen custard!! You can get it in a shake in flavors: vanilla, chocolate, caramel, or coffee or have it on in a soft serve cone. Join their shake club! It is essential.
Graze is the perfect addition to Westerly. It is a small order at the counter joint that can be perfect for dining in or getting it to-go. Now be warned it doesn’t come out super fast because everything is fresh and made to order, but that isn’t a bad thing. I recommend if you are in a rush to order online for pick-up.
