On Friday, April 28, Bogue’s Alley will be hosting Dine to Donate in honor of Autism Awareness Month. One dollar from each sandwich served will go directly towards Autism Awareness.  Since Bogue’s Alley is located right over the bridge, it is super easy to stop in and grab a sandwich to go!

On our most recent trip we had The Westerly.  Owner Amanda Nall tells us that most of the sandwiches got their whimsical names before she took over two years ago.  Filled with roasted peppers, tomato, basil and loaded with Calabrese hot salami, this sandwich is a Bogue’s Classic. Served on a toasted rosemary focaccia roll, we found it to be spicy and delicious. The bread was crusty, but not overwhelming as sandwich rolls can often be. The thinly sliced provolone added a lovely texture to the other ingredients.  In addition to the classics, you can create your own sandwich at Bogue’s.

According to Autism Speaks, Autism affects 1 in 68 children.  Because of this, we all need to do what we can to help. So stop in and support Bogue’s Alley as they support Autism Awareness.
