In the heart of downtown Westerly is Pizza Place. If you’ve been to downtown then you have probably seen or passed Pizza Place as it is across the street from the library and post office and right next to Town Hall. There are two entrances into Pizza Place, one off Union Street by the Town Hall and the main entrance is off of Broad Street facing the library.

As you enter Pizza Place you are immediately greeted with their open kitchen where you can see the cooks rolling and tossing pizza dough. You can see your pizza being made! Also it makes the whole place smell like homemade pizza which is better than any candle.

Now it should be very obvious that this place sells pizza, I mean it is the Pizza Place. They have have two different sauce options for pies: white and red. They have many different menu options for both types of sauce or you can build your own pizza. Be warned if you do decide to build your own pizza then you have to pay per ingredient so I recommend one of their menu options. They do have a wide variety of pies like Meatball, Eggplant Special, The Reuben, Potato, Thai Chicken, Chipotle Pulled Pork, Shrimp Scampi, Scallop & Bacon, and even Clam! They have a good mix of traditional pies and speciality giving everyone in your party an option. Don’t let the name fool you though, they do serve more than pizza. They have also serve pasta, grinders, soup, salad, and starters. I recommend sharing a pizza and pasta if your looking to try more menu items. Their portions are very hardy and are definitely enough to share.

The next time you are looking for a place for everyone in your party then Pizza Place is your go to. It is the perfect place for a quick lunch, a post soccer game meal, a birthday celebration, or even an intimate dinner date.
