Today, Governor Raimondo announced that all restaurants, cafes and coffee shops in the state of Rhode Island will close for dine-in service starting tomorrow March 17, 2020 and will last until March 30, 2020.  At that time, they will assess the situation and go from there.  Take-out service will still be available and many restaurants in Westerly are now offering curbside pickup.  Either call up your favorite restaurant or use their online ordering system to place your order.  Some restaurants may offer delivery via their own drivers or a 3rd party service – Uber Eats, Grub Hub or Door Dash.

Gatherings of more than 25 people are prohibited and this should be followed.

“We are directing all Rhode Islanders to avoid all non-essential crowds.  Eating out is non-essential; getting your hair done is non-essential, it’s important but it’s not essential; hanging out with your friends is not essential” – Governor Gina Raimondo
