The only thing I love more than Ina Garten’s glass canisters housing her flour and sugar are glass canisters full of cookies. I’m not talking about the perfectly stacked Oreos or Golden Oreos sported on the Kardashian countertops, but real homemade cookies tempting you to remove the lid and take one. When they are full of gigantic homemade cookies it is a little difficult to get me to think of anything else. So when I stop in at The Cooked Goose I am nearly in heaven. The first thing you see as you walk in are the cookies! Their jars are always full of classic flavors including our favorites, the chocolate chunk. Crunchy and full of generous chocolate chunks, they are perfect for dipping in a cold glass of milk.
While we love to eat in and spend an hour lingering over brunch on a weekend, it is great to know that during the week you can also just swing by and grab a sweet treat to go. What is your favorite find at The Cooked Goose?
