Hey, Westerly! Do you love dessert as much as we do? Welcome to The Sweet Spot, our newest feature at Westerly Food. Westerly is loaded with great stops for sweet indulgences and here at Westerly Food we are excited to try them all out!
Our first stop was to Junk & Java where you will find a glass case full of treats. So while you are grabbing that quick coffee you can also pick up something sweet. Muffins, macaroons, cupcakes, it is a little difficult to pick just one. We managed to leave with three of the gorgeous little truffles- red velvet, peanut butter and triple chocolate. They were all good, but our favorite was the triple chocolate. A hard shell with the most decadent chocolate center, our only regret was that we didn’t get a few more! Did you know that Junk & Java also offers house made gelato? We can’t wait to stop in and try it out.
