Continuing on our gluten free lunch to go we headed to Ju Sushi.  We should point out that our gluten free dining is not allergy based- it is by choice, which is, we realize, much easier to navigate.  While many items in a sushi restaurant are not gluten free, it is easy to find quite a few that you can safely take home.  We skipped the soy sauce, wasabi, imitation crab, tempura and spicy sauces.  We left with a cucumber roll, an avocado roll, an oshinko roll and a yellowtail and scallion roll.  If you have an allergy, is ALWAYS important to inform your server that you need gluten free food.  Sushi rice is sometimes made with vinegars that are wheat based rather than rice based so make sure that you confirm before you order.  We love that Ju Sushi is open for lunch and provides super quick take out.  We also love looking at the autographed wall if we do have to wait.  Next time you are looking for a quick and easy lunch to go consider Ju Sushi on Granite Street.
