A few days back we stopped in at The Cooked Goose for lunch to go. What is not to love about The Cooked Goose? It is a great gathering spot. My family especially loves it for those weekend breakfasts where you can linger and enjoy really good food.
Being in a bit of a rush we didn’t have time to sit so we ordered a sandwich to go. There are a lot of choices, but we opted for the Oscar. Thickly cut filet mignon with Boursin, tomato, avocado, lettuce, red onion and horseradish mayonnaise, this sandwich is both delicious and filling. Service was quick and friendly. It seemed as though everyone coming in the door was a regular. Have you seen the signature cookies? Oh my goodness. We had to stop ourselves from ordering one of each variety on the way out.
